During the meeting sides discussed issues of bilateral collaboration between Ukraine and Western Cape in spheres of interregional cooperation, high technology, infrastructure, agriculture and tourism.

Helen Zilleshared views on the Nation Address by H. E. Jacob Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa and expressed heir views on the further development of South Africa and the Western Cape Province.

Special attention was paid tothe possible participation of Ukrainian enterprises in projects connected with alternative sources of energy. H.Zilli emphasized the interest in cooperation with Ukraine as a state which has high technology and appropriate scientific potential.

Ambassadorof Ukraineand Premierof Western Cape Province alsonoted a good level of relations established between theWestern Cape Provinceand Mykolayiv region and agreed on the necessity of expanding interregional relationships.
