Trade and economic cooperation

According to the results of 2021, the volume of bilateral trade in goods amounted to 2.58 million USD and decreased by 13.6% compared to the same period of 2020. At the same time, the export of goods from Ukraine to Zimbabwe amounted to 32.5 thousand USD (a decrease of 29.4 times), and the import of goods from Zimbabwe to Ukraine amounted to 2.55 million dollars. USA (increase by 26.4%). The negative balance for Ukraine during this period amounted to 2.51 million USD.

Exports are represented by products of the milling industry - 21.7 thousand USD (decrease by 39.9%), electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof - 7.4 thousand USD (no exports in 2020) and machinery, mechanical appliances, nuclear reactors, boilers; parts thereof - 3.4 thousand USD (decrease by 2.4 times). Imports are mainly represented by tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes - 1.74 million USD (decrease by 5.4%) and edible fruit and nuts – 758.7 thousand USD (increase by 5.5 times).

Export of services (mainly related to travel) in 2021 amounted to 813.1 thousand USD (a decrease of 1.8%), imports - 92.4 thousand USD.
