Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of South Africa H.E. Dr. Valery Hrebeniuk met with Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces of the Parliament of South Africa M.J. Mahlangu.

During the meeting sides discussed several issues of bilateral cooperation.

The Ambassador informed M.J. Mahlangu about the foreign policy priorities of Ukraine and cooperation with African countries, the political situation in Ukraine, and the preparation for the next parliamentary elections which will be held in October 2012.

Sides also discussed the inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Parliament of South Africa, and the development of interregional partnership between Ukraine and South Africa.
