On the 24th of February 2012 was held a meeting between Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Namibia H.E. Dr. Valery Hrebeniuk and Minister of Defence of Namibia Major General (rtd) Charles Namoloh.

During the discussion sides stressed that both countries are interested to continue close cooperation in the sphere of military-technical cooperation and that the planned visit of Ch.Namoloh to Ukraine should contribute the cooperation to this sphere

Minister of Defence of Namibia noted that the creation of permanent acting mechanism of cooperation between the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defence of Namibia is very important for both countries. In this context, sides agreed that it is necessary to sign the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Namibia on cooperation in military sphere.

It was agreed that the parameters of military-technical cooperation in the nearest future will be discussed during the visit of Ch.Namoloh to Ukraine.
