Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Namibia H.E. Dr. Valery Hrebeniuk met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Namibia Utoni Nujoma and Deputy Minister Peya Mushelenga. During the meeting sides discussed a wide range of bilateral issues and possible joint actions in the framework of international organizations. In this context, during the meeting special attention was paid to reformation of the UN Security Council.

Ambassador of Ukraine emphasized that Ukraine, in particularly business organizations, are interested to activate cooperation with Namibia, especially in the economic sphere. V.Hrebeniuk transferred to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Namibia Plan of Cooperation between Ukraine and Namibia (Action Plan). Sides agreed that conclusion of several bilateral agreements which are already under consideration by the both countries will contribute to further development of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting sides also discussed the issue of educational programs for Namibian students. Particularly interlocutors noted that Ukraine and Namibia have great opportunities for cooperation in education sphere.
