Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine!

 Today, Ukraine celebrates the 30th anniversary of the adoption of its Constitution, a cornerstone of our democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of human dignity and fundamental freedoms. It is especially meaningful that Ukraine and South Africa’s democratic constitutions were born in the same era. While Ukraine marks this milestone today, South Africa will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the signing of its Constitution later this year. Both documents reflect our shared values of democracy, human dignity, equality, justice, and the rule of law.
