Dear Ukrainians in South Africa and friends of Ukraine! 

We congratulate you on a new important step in relations: Ukraine joining South Africa’s ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) visa system. From now on, what required months of waiting and two (!) trips to Warsaw will be a matter of quick application via smart phone and automatic authorization via email. 

Ukraine was one of the first nations joining the newly created system. For this decision we thank personally Minister of Home Affairs Leon Schreiber and his team led by Director General for Immigration Services Yusuf Simons!

The applications can be submitted via the website eta.dha.gov.za and are available for citizens arriving via airports in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg (Oliver Tambo and Lanseria).
