On the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, the Embassy of Ukraine in South Africa organized an event to honor the victims of World War II "Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation", which took place in the Freedom Park in Pretoria.

The event was attended by the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Japan, the United States, Kazakhstan, Canada, as well as representatives of the South African National Defence Forces and veterans' organizations.

To honor the victims of WWII the Ambassador of Ukraine Liubov Abravitova announced the minute of silence. After the speeches the wreaths were laid.

The Embassy thanks to the hosts of the Freedom Park for the friendly location and all the guests of the event for their solidarity!
