On 27 September, the Oscar-nominated documentary “Porcelain War” was shown in Pretoria as part of the European Film Festival South Africa 2026.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Olexander Scherba stressed that Porcelain War is not only a film about war, but also about the strength of Ukrainian culture, the resilience of ordinary people, and the determination to preserve humanity and creativity even under the most difficult circumstances.
