During the meeting sides discussed the issues of intensification of collaboration with NEPAD, and the participation of Ukraine in the projects of this organization. In this context, Valery Hrebeniuk stressed that Ukraine understands the importance of NEPAD and ready to contribute to the achievement of its objectives. I.Mayaki informed about the main current objectives of the organization and stressed the socio-economic orientation of program projects. The priority areas of possible cooperation of NEPAD with Ukraine still are agriculture, technology and education.
